Wellcome Fisheries, through years of experience and with network of good relationships, has built up valuable name in exporting world-class sea foods. We are one of the leading exporter in India with sales to U.S.A, EU, UK, China, Canada, Middle East and Korea since its establishment on year 1987. In the year 2018, our total shrimp export was 8700MT finished products. Wellcome Fisheries ventured into the International sea food export market with an objective to create and maintain international standards in Indian Marine Food Processing. And we stand for high standard in quality, freshness.

From selection of raw material up to export we follow the guidelines accepted internationally.
Mr. Anandh - Chairman has five decades of industry experience and has massive knowledge about the seafood industry. He is one of the pioneers in Indian seafood industry. His stringent policies to maintain quality to satisfy the customers has been his priority and it has taken the company’s foot print to many American and European countries which have strict quality control regulations.

The only daughter of Mr. Anandh is the next generation successor of Wellcome Fisheries. She is involved in the company activities since childhood. After completion of her degree she has taken up complete in-charge of all business activities.

Quality & Certificate
Wellcome Fisheries knows the key factors of success in frozen food business to maintain consistent product quality. Wellcome Fisheries harvest experts pick the first quality of raw materials from the pond and immediately ice packed and load them carefully in to the insulated trucks to dispatch to the factory. The company Lab is equipped with imported machinery for testing microbiology and anti-biotic in the raw material and finished product to ensure quality in the international markets. In it's constant endeavors towards improving the quality , Wellcome Fisheries has established a state of the art Quality control lab to ensure quality checks at different stages of processing such as landing centers, transportation, pre-processing, grading, value addition, weighing, filling, labelling, freezing, packing, storing & loading to refrigerated container.
The processing plant is now certified by European Union (E.U.No: 934), BAP (ACC****), BRC (British Retail Consortium), IFS, FSSC22000, HACCP, ASC CoC and USFDA (United States Food and Drug Administration). The company is registered and monitored by E.I.C (Export inspection council of India) and MPEDA (Marine product export development authority). Equipped with social compliance of various buyers and markets.
Infrastructure
Our Factory is located within 60Kms radius of farm land, where we get fresh farmed Vannamei shrimps. We own and operate 6,000 hectares of shrimp farms with buyback system. Processing careful and efficient handling of raw materials in extremely hygienic conditions in the modern integrated processing plant, built in accordance with the EEC standards / USFDA.
